Snow!

Snow!

Sledding

With even a bit of snow due in New Jersey tonight, sledding becomes a real possibility. My parents used to take my brother and I to Holmdel Park. It was great sledding. I can't wait until my son is old enough to take him there too! Anyway, I found a nice article on sledding in New Jersey I wanted to share.

Any.DO Offers a Minimalistic Yet Functional UI for Your To-Do Lists

There are countless to-do apps in the Appstore. However, most of them try to pack in too many features, making them feel and look bloated and clunky. Any.DO (free) takes a different approach, offering a beautiful, minimalistic interface that makes planning your day an actual pleasure.

The main screen is divided into four sections: today, tomorrow, upcoming and someday. You can quickly add a task to one of these sections by tapping the plus sign. Then, type or talk to record your task. The voice recognition is both fast and accurate. Tasks can be marked urgent, given a reminder, labeled or shared.

Of course, the app also provides push notifications to remind you of your tasks' due dates.

One of the more unique features that Any.DO has to offer actually helps you plan your day, and is called "Any.DO Moment." The app will give you a "moment" to plan your day buy displaying one task at a time. You must choose one of four options for each task: today, done, later, or delete. This really does give the user some time to think about what they have to do that day and to make smart decisions about which tasks to put off until the next day, if necessary. It gives one the chance to organize his or her day before facing it.

This is absolutely a must-own to-do list app.
